Simulation of Voltage Stability Enhancement at Primary Substation Using Static VAR Compensator

For the voltage stability enhancement of power system, reactive compensation is vital important. With advancement in technology, Flexible AC Transmission System Devices (FACTS) are widely used for improvement. In primary substation, poor due to load conditions and system faults. this research, a Primary Substation using Static VAR (volt-amp reactive) compensator (SVC) presented. SVC can be improve addition damping control. application SVC, improved under normal condition as well contingency conditions. Shunt sources, including capacitive inductive, controlled by high electronic switching devices an enhance stability. The goal attempt use 230/33 kV system. To evaluate improvement simulation model implemented Matlab/Simulink performance analysis carried out based on results.
